Established upon a powerful 28nm ZYNQ XC7Z020, PNA6 can developed into a full-blown realtime high bandwidth monitoring system or a full-duplex tranceiver. By integrating the power of a strong FPGA with a Cortex ARMv7 processor, PNA6 allows an easy to use and fast time-to-market solution for system engineer to adjust the board for their custom application in minimum time.

Wideband RF Transceiver

AD9361 is a 2 × 2 RF transceiver with integrated 12-bit DACs and ADCs capable of sampling signals with up to 650Msps. Tunable from 70 MHz to 6.0 GHz this wideband transceiver can generate sine wave with 2.4 Hz step size and 80dB of dynamic range.

Final price of PNA6 was the first priority during design process. In order to cutback manufacturing costs, a tremendous amount of time spent on decreasing number of pcb layers to ONLY 8. An extremely difficult task to do because of the tightening space constraints and many controlled impedance traces that exists on the board.
