PNA6 is made to get VNA more accessable to those who need a portable devices not to measure military extremely high frequency band but frequesies that are more prevalent in consumer products. We engineered power, size and cost to deliver a small form factor device with ease of mobility in an economical cost.

PNA6 is designed to be more than of a VNA. Established upon a powerful 28nm ZYNQ XC7Z020, it can be also suited for analysing realtime high bandwidth signals. Integrating the power of a strong FPGA with an Cortex ARmv7, allows the system engineer to use PNA6 as a monitoring system or a full-duplex tranceiver easily and fast.

Analog Devices AD9361
Wideband RF Transceiver

AD9361 is a 2 × 2 RF transceiver with integrated 12-bit DACs and ADCs capable of sampling signals with up to 650Msps. Tunable from 70 MHz to 6.0 GHz this wideband transceiver can generate sine wave with 2.4 Hz step size and 80dB dynamic range.

The cost of PNA6 is our first priority in the design process. In order to cutback manufacturing costs a tremendous amount of time spent to decrease layer to ONLY 8 LAYERS despite the tightening spaces and controlled impedance traces constraints that board should meet.
